Flow enabling ambient soundscapes for deep focus

Are you distracted by noises in an open office while trying to focus on your work?

Maybe tried to find suitable ambient soundscapes to block the noise, but in all tracks, there is just happening too much!

Or do you tend to sit still extended periods of time? Which, in fact, has been proved to be very health damaging after 30 minutes.

If so, please feel free to stream the following optimal length soundscapes designed to block distracting noise:

Sitting is the new smoking

“Metabolism slows down 90 per cent after 30 minutes of sitting. The enzymes that move the bad fat from your arteries to your muscles, where it can get burned off, slow down. The muscles in your lower body are turned off. And after two hours, good cholesterol drops 20 per cent.”

FAQ

Why did you do these soundscapes?

I personally find it quite hard to focus when surrounded by office noises. I have also noticed, that many experts feel the same. That is why I decided to do these soundscapes. Soon after I realized that the soundscapes could also work as a timer to prevent excessive sitting, which can have pretty bad consequences.

Why there is not that much happening in these tracks?

After failing to find soundscapes that would help me to focus and remind me to get up often enough, I decided to compose four 30 minutes long deep focus soundscapes. The length is decided to be such, that when the soundscape ends, it also means that it is time to get up, stretch, and/or have a short break.

What does Peitto mean?

These ambient soundscapes are released under my artist name Peitto, which is a Finnish word and means blanket or to cover something. This I think is the perfect pseudonym for the soundscape artist.

Who is Peitto?

My name is Jukka Niittymaa and you can find more info about me from www.jukkaniittymaa.com (only in Finnish though).

Where can I listen to Peitto’s soundscapes?

At the moment you can stream the soundscapes from Soundcloud. If you know how to get them released in Spotify, please send me an e-mail: peitto@jukkaniittymaa.com

Why don’t you release the EP in Spotify via Distrokid?

Distrokid was my initial plan, but unfortunately, they informed me that they do not release ambient, meditation music or soundscapes. :/

What are these soundscapes meant for?

I hope that these soundscapes could help you to focus more deeply while working, meditating, commuting, or sleeping.

Do you plan to release more album’s in the future under Peitto’s pseudonym?

Yes, it is possible if I find a way to get the soundscapes into Spotify.

How do you have crafted these soundscapes?

It’s a kind of magic. And waveforms. And filters. And reverbs.

Have you ever done some “real” music?

Yes. I have been making mostly electronic music since the mid-’90s.

Can I follow Peitto in Instagram / Facebook / TikTok / Twitter / Etc. ?

At the moment I don’t think I could provide any extra value by updating social media with Peitto’s pseudonym.

I would like to have my own hand-tailored deep focus soundscape, do you do such and how much it would cost?
